Twelfth Week Class

Assalamualaikum…

Finally, last assignment, which is the hardest, database. Luckily we have the steps given by Umi Rosseni, thank you Umie. 🙂
The steps have made our work much easier, and less stress. Its  still in the progress since its quite hard.
We found that Microsoft Access is much more organized compared to Microsoft Excel.It consists of table(jadual), form(borang), query(pertanyaan) and report(laporan).
So, basically, we need to plan, create and edit a simple database for student management information. So, InsyaAllah it will be completed soon.
Study week went well, the papers was quite okay i would say except for GE1155, it  was quite hard, so, we are depending 100% on our assignments, we are hoping to get an A for this course. 🙂

 

 

Eleventh Week Class

Assalamualaikum..
After completing  last week’s assignment,  the next assignment was to plan,create and edit a simple one year personal financial management (spreadsheet) bu using Calc.
As far as i know,  i don’t really have any knowledge in making a personal financial management using spreadsheet since i have nothing to do with it before, but now, we’ll take this as a part of learning process, so we’ll try our best in completing this assignment,hopefully. So, in the implementation of this task, we can actually gain new knowledge and experience together.
Everything new is challenging,in order to improve our skills, we need to learn and try to accomplish this task.

Tenth Week Class

Assalamualaikum..
Its been a while of not telling whats the progress of our assignment.. We were quite busy with our exams preparation.  Thank God,Alhamdulillah syukur Umi Rosseni has delayed the due date for the submition of assignments. 🙂 Thanks Umi.
Okay, so, after completing the task of  creating brochure and booklet.
The next assignment is creating  presentation using Impress about our topic which is Thinking Skills and ICT, and also a multimedia presentation using Powerpoint.
Its not a problem for the second task, but the first was quite challenging since we have never ever tried Impress before, but this is part of learning process, and Alhamdulillah..we managed to get it done.

Ninth Week Class

Assalamualaikum..
As for the ninth week, we are supposed to create a brochure/ leaflet using Microsoft Publisher. So far, I would say that this is the toughest assignment because it has something to do with multimedia skills which i have no idea how to do it, but then, if i don’t learn anything new, i’ll end up being the same girl as before. So,i must ensure that i can complete this assignment  with full of satisfaction.
Besides creating a brochure, we must also create a booklet by using the bookfold function in Word.
Multimedia is wide. Therefore, this task actually gives me the opportunity to explore the features of multimedia by knowing how to use photoshops, how to draw graphic objects, 2D,3D and so forth. Besides, i can also earn the knowledge of differentiating the format of the image file whether it is JPEG, GIFF, TIFF, BMP, PNG, or WMF.
Farah and I will try our best in equipping this task, Insya-Allah.

Eighth Week Class

for week 8, there is no class due to the mid semester break and also Hari Raya Haji celebration. Farah and I have tried to complete the assignments, but it seems that we failed to complete them because of the excitement during the holidays. However, we are back on track and we will be continuing to complete our work. 🙂

Seventh Week Class

Alhamdulillah, I was given the opportunity to still be here in week 7 to complete the next assignment.
For this week,my partner farah and i will be completing the mini research by writing the full report including the intro(literature review) , objectives of our research, the tabulation of data (results) based on the 10 questions we have created in the survey and also the conclusion of our report.
We’ll share it through facebook and link it in yahoo group.
By doing this assignment, we gained new knowledge and new skills of making full report by using OpenOffice Writer.
We are hoping to get positive feedbacks from our classmates so that we can improve what we have done and what we will be doing for the next assignment.

Sixth Week Class

website stated is our questionnaire in survey monkey  and we are still hoping that our classmates has the time to fill up our questionnaire. By knowing the results or I can say as observations based on the questionnaires answered by them,we will be able to find out what is exactly the importance of thinking skills and ICT according to their perception. We hope that our report that we will write soon could answer all the questions regarding this topic.
Besides,we are doing the  statistics based on the questionnaires that we have printed.(on going) When we have complete the statistics of data based on the questionnaire, report will be written.

Fifth Week Class

Assalamualaikum…
Hello there everyone,  for this fifth week,we have studied websites on Educational Research Process and also the way on how to do literature review.Besides, we have also studied plagiarisme. We have also created 10 questionnaires for our survey research on the topic chosen.
Based on what we have discussed and studied,we know that plagiarism is not the way to settle or to complete any work as a student in university life.We have also study the proper way of writing literature review.  We have discovered that thinking skills and ICT play an important role in nowadays life.
Therefore,as students, we need to have that awareness in mind about all the important things that we must get to know as general knowledge for at least.
As conclusion, we need to be alert in every new things related to skills and also ICT. 🙂

Fourth Week Class

Alhamdulillah, so far, my partner, Farah and I has completed our assignment for the fourth week. We have discussed the topic ‘ Thinking Skills & ICT’ through facebook with several of our classmates.
Based on what we have discussed,we gained new knowledge related to the topic. It is already proven,that Thinking Sills and ICT play an important role in nowadays life as students and also educators.
We have discussed and share it through facebook and also yahoo group attachment through links.

Its quite easy to discuss with Farah since we are staying in the same college,but then,its a bit hard to meet and complete this assignments together since we are busy with other assignments too. Here is the part where the group created gives benefits to us. We can discuss it together by online.

We’ll try our best in understanding this topic hoping that we can apply what we’ve learnt practically. 🙂
